2.1 The Chair welcomed Members and members of the public.
3. Scrutiny of the First Minister
3.1 The Chair welcomed Carwyn Jones AM, First Minister.
The Legislative Programme
3.2 The First Minister was accompanied by Claire Fife, Manager of the Legislative Programme, Welsh Government.
3.3 The Committee scrutinised the First Minister on the following areas:
· Planning and co-ordinating the legislative programme;
· Consultations and engagement;
· Discussions with the UK Government; and
· Post-legislative issues and implementation.
Promoting Enterprise
3.4 The First Minister was accompanied by James Price, Director General, Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science; and Rob Hunter, Director, Finance – Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science.
3.5 The Committee scrutinised the First Minister on the following areas:
· Enterprise and entrepreneurship in Wales;
· Cross-cutting policy;
· Business support and business creation; and
· Enterprise education and youth entrepreneurship.
4. Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the meeting for the following business:
